a) Please give your name and e-mail address.
(b) Do you intend to take a distance network course in the current semester (See UVA FAQ question 12 for expected course offerings)? If so, which one(s)?
(c) Are there particular topics or courses that you would like to see included in your degree Plan of Study? If so, which one(s)? Do you think these topics or courses are covered by existing CGEP offerings (See UVA FAQ question 4)?
(d) Please provide a list of technical keywords that describe your expected area of application of new knowledge gained through UVA's CGEP initiative.
(e) Based upon the published list of distance learning courses to be broadcast and based upon your existing course credits (i.e. potential transfer credits), please list the courses that you would like to include in your approved Plan of Study for the Masters of Engineering degree. Please include grades for courses already completed and school where course was taken. For the M.E. degree, this Plan of Study will show ten classes. If you would like to pursue an M.S. degree, this Plan of Study will show eight classes. For the Ph.D., the Plan of Study will need to be developed in close cooperation with your research advisor.
NOTE: CGEP is primarily intended to support students pursuing the Masters of Engineering degree. Students interested in a M.S. or Ph.D. degree should consult with the Advising Point of Contact listed in UVA FAQ question 11 before starting to take classes towards those degrees.
(f) Do you have a longer term goal to obtain an advanced degree in your particular area of study beyond a Masters of Engineering degree? If so, which degree (e.g. M.S. or Ph.D.)?
