Leading universities in Virginia have developed a distance learning program to make engineering master's degrees readily available to qualified engineers.
At the center of the Commonwealth Graduate Enginering Program are the accredited graduate engineering programs at the University of Virginia.
This nationally ranked university offers regular online engineering master's courses to students in Virginia and beyond. Sudents take classes online in real time. Classes are scheduled in late afternoon and early evening hours.

• Fall course registration is expected to open on August 1st. To view the expected offerings, refer to the Fall 2014 Schedule.
• The U.S. Department of Education is working to better regulate online education. Until further notice, admission to CGEP is restricted to Virginia residents starting spring 2014.
