The leading universities in the Commonwealth of Virginia have developed a distance learning program
to make master's degrees in several engineering disciplines easily available to qualified engineers.
At the center of the system is the graduate engineer-
ing program of the University of Virginia.
See Accreditation.

This nationally ranked university broadcasts regular master's courses via video conferencing from special classrooms on campus to sites in Virginia as well as out of state. The classes are received live, and stu-
dents are able to participate fully in all classroom discussions. Classes are scheduled in late after-
noon and early evening hours.
